This is our first trip to Alaska- Kent and Melanie have certainly made it impressive- Their hospitality is wonderful. It's going to be difficult to compete with for the rest of our trip.
What a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary- Miles and Sue Biery Kudos to both of you for your hospitality ! - You made our first visit an adventure. We all had a wonderful time. The Hadaways P.S. Our homes are open to ya'll when you want to make a trip to our part of this "Great Country" we live in. We've traveled from Anchorage, AK (my mom and I)- With our Texan friend to float the Kenai. Thanks for all the wonderful hospitality- A relaxing, cozy cabin, beautiful scenery (as always) and delicious breakfast! Hope to see you again! Your hospitality was so warm and welcoming with all of your suggestions of things to do and see (and we did them all!) The highlight for us was your surprise birthday cake for our son Scott's 18th birthday! That, along with a glass of wine made our day after fishing and bear viewing! We've learned a thing or two about canoes as well- a slight tumble in the lake taught us that you were serious about how sensitive they are (and we caught it all on video!) Had a great trip to Homer, fishing there was unreal. Trip to Seward and Exit Glacier were unbelievable. The lodge has been a very comfortable and fun place for the family of five. The three boys loved the fire every night and we met some great people there. The Geth Family Our two boys are avid fishermen- And we've been wanting to bring them to Alaska for two years- we finally did it for their high school graduation present. We are having an excellent time. Kent and Melanie have been more than wonderful since our first call the night we found them on the internet.
